Veteran police Xu Guozhu, Cui Tiejun, and Pan Jianghai held a remarkable record during times of war. Once the walking manifestation of justice and guardians of the people, they’ve now settled for office tasks as they aged and younger officers such as Lin Nan began to take over fieldwork. And yet they remain unsettled… Before long, the bureau of economic off­ence investigation receives a financial fraud case that could only be solved with Xu, Cui, and Pan’s valor and experience.
